Curriculum & Schedule

Pre-kindergarten at Uncommon Schools prepares children to be successful in elementary school and beyond, and aligns with our K-12 educational philosophy while supporting the unique needs of early learners. Our well-rounded and developmentally appropriate curriculum fosters children’s confidence, sense of community and socialization, independence, and love of learning.

Core Day:  7:45am - 3:00pm
After Care:  3:00pm - 5:00pm

10:15 – 10:35 Science, Writing & Author Share/Show & Tell (Alternating)
10:35 – 11:25 Restroom & Lunch
11:25 – 11:45 Outdoor Play
11:45 – 1:00 Restroom & Naptime/Rest
1:00 – 1:10 Transition Time
1:10 – 2:10 Spanish & Performing Arts
2:10 – 2:40 Math, Writing & Science (Alternating)
2:40 – 2:50 Mindfulness – Closing
2:50 – 3:30 Pack-up & Dismissal
3:30 – 5:00 After Care – Music, Soccer & Free Choice Centers (Optional)
